Within my friend group

I’m the funny one

The loud one

The one that’s a little out there

But overall fun to be around

Within my family

I’m the baby

The youngest of four

The rest are moved out or about to be

I’m still here 

Within my class

I’m just kind of there

I don’t talk much

But if you need a charger

I carry mine in my bag every day

And if you’re running out of time on an assignment

I have the answers you need

Within my cast

I’m the one who played Bruce in Matilda

Even though I’m not a boy

I’m the one who’s loud sometimes

But most of the time

I’m quiet

I don’t have a big role in the cast

I sit listening to music

And playiing Block Blast

Because I’m in only one small part

That doesn’t happen till the end

To myself

I’m a kid

I’m trying my best

And I don’t do the right thing all the time

But I want to take accountability for my actions

Especially if they hurt others

I’m anxious

And awkward

But hey

We’re all a bit weird

I fit right in
