There are a lot of people that blog (or perhaps, journal) on a daily basis.\u00a0 I am not one of those people.\u00a0 I have claimed (mostly to myself) that I want to write a book.\u00a0 I have been making that claim for about 4 or 5 years now.\u00a0 I even took a \u201cCreative Writing Habits\u201d class.<\/p>\n
I am not a very consistent or prolific blogger.\u00a0 I am an even less consistent writer.\u00a0 I sometimes wonder if I really want to be a writer or if I just want to tell a story the way I want it to be told?\u00a0 Maybe, I just want to be a typist.\u00a0 I do like to type when the words are coming out fast enough to keep my fingers busy.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I have to write for work.\u00a0 That isn\u2019t terrible.\u00a0 My writing for work is in the vein of instructions or how-to\u2019s for things I work with.\u00a0 Nothing terribly complicated or long.<\/p>\n
All of this rambling is so that I can share a new plan I have.\u00a0\u00a0 I have written a number of short beginnings for potential stories.\u00a0 I am going to continue doing that, and perhaps intersperse some \u2018writing prompt\u2019 output.\u00a0 I think I am going to start posting those on Tuesdays and my other rambling thoughts on Thursdays.\u00a0 Right now, my Thursday work is scheduled out \u2018til the first week of May (2023) and this is the first week of April.<\/p>\n
I will have to see how much content I have and see if I can get some of my writing snippets posted.<\/p>\n
One day, I hope that there are a few people that find this blog, and comment on the posts.\u00a0 The goal being for someone to say \u201cHey, that looks like it would be a good story!\u00a0 Why don\u2019t you go ahead and write it?\u201d<\/p>\n
I am sure that there will be some comments to the effect of \u2018you call this writing\u2019, and that is ok.\u00a0 My daughter writes better than I do, so she is entitled to poke fun at my work, even if she is only 9 (as of this writing).<\/p>\n
