{"id":385,"date":"2026-05-11T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.theworldrevolvesaroundmichael.com\/?p=385"},"modified":"2026-05-06T21:29:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T02:29:09","slug":"mother-earth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.theworldrevolvesaroundmichael.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/11\/mother-earth\/","title":{"rendered":"Mother Earth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Why did you do this to me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You cut me open<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And use my blood to pollute me further<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A thick smog<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like wool over my eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can&#8217;t see any longer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My waters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They run deep<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But so do the scars you have given me<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You pour your waste in my waters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You dump oil in my streams<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You put debris in my oceans<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And you maim your siblings as you do it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They struggle against plastic muzzles in the water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poisoned food in their mouths<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You hurt me<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And your fellow species<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I will forgive you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again and again<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because Mother Earth is patient<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is gracious<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She loves her children<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if this keeps happening<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no more Mother Earth to forgive you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it&nbsp;<em><u>will<\/u><\/em>&nbsp;be your fault.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why did you do this to me?
