The Sea #2: The Reasoning Behind

The painting I’d like to talk about today is a work called “The Sea #2” by me! The squid in this picture has 11 tentacles because of a birth defect. The squid is sad because it’s injured, and the waters are murky, when they once were crystal clear and there was nothing to worry about in the water besides natural predators. There are also some fish guarding their eggs, and some coral and sea sponge, and, the horrible pollution. Walmart bags, amazon cardboard pieces, and even a tire! Thankfully, people are working to raise awareness about how bad the pollution is, but the progress is going to be slow. In the meantime, I’ll be painting away the negativity.
